How does a Sandvik Cone Mill Work?
1. Grinding
The material is fed into the upper part of the cone. It must be full of material at all times, as the grinding is done by compressing the material itself against the movement to reduce its size.
2. Configuration setting
The Hydroset™ hydraulic system allows the cone configuration to be adjusted. This guarantees optimum performance and precise adaptation to different types of material.
3. Safety
The hydraulic system also provides safety features, such as automatic release of the shredder cone in the event of jamming or overloading.
