What are Caterpillar Thumbs?
The thumb is a type of attachment that is installed on the dipperstick. It has a hydraulic cylinder with a claw that closes on the bucket carried by the machine. This grapple integrates perfectly with excavator buckets, allowing exceptional versatility in a variety of industrial applications. Only available for bolt-on couplings and those above 400 mm.
