Forestry Processor Heads WH50-1

The WH50-1 harvester head combines the manoeuvrability of its predecessor with the high-end technology of its big brother.

A well thought-out mounting system on the clamp frame allows for the ideal mounting of a saw while maintaining total stability. The two movable upper blades are located directly behind the static upper blade, lying optimally on the trunk and ensuring a perfect delimbing result.

With the KTC machine control, the clamping pressures of the feed rollers and clamps are adapted to the diameter of the trunk and the type of tree. The diameter-dependent saw cut saves valuable time and increases productivity thanks to fully automatic log splitting. The automatic chain tensioner which ensures a long service life for the cutting unit, the light barrier function for fast and time-saving cutting of the wood in front and the KONRAD auger rotor are part of the standard equipment of the WH50-1, along with many other innovations.
